  The planet of Groa was in the midst of a robot revolution, where the once allied companion robot race here suddenly turned on the humans here. Cities have been reduced to ruined warzones, and the countryside is the domain of vast super machines, prowling for the pockets of human strength.   A patchwork of safe-zones, strong points, holdfasts, and bitterly disputed territories checker the planet, with no end to the fighting in sight.   The planet has two moons, scouting records pertaining to each of them have been lost.   A truce has been called between the Zero Foundation robots and the human settlers of the planet thanks to the interventions of Marble the Geon, and Reverend Levi. A safe zone for commercial trade has been set up between the two groups, though it will be some time before the world re-joins the NMC as a whole.   In late 2668, the Zero Foundation was moved off planet with assistance by the Greystar Confederation. Now, only the battered human inhabitants remain amid the ruins of both their own society, and that of their former enemy.
