Firben Enyaborus

The Firben Enyaborus is the name given to a small 1m long species of gecko found on Saliv. The creature lives under rocks at the edge of the methane sea where they burrow to try to conserve whatever warmth they can.   Firben Enyaborus are cold-blooded, though have adapted for the normal -81C temperatures common when living near liquid methane. It is thought they do not need to warm themselves up much to keep their bodies running.   This species has an unknown diet, and also has spines on its back that it raises for defense when threatened by larger creatures or predators.   Almost no information about this creature is known. It was first discovered by explorers Hemon "Goblin" Tox and Ana "Starluck" Acantha.
