  The Eidiya system is centered around a bright yellow star. The system consists of a gas giant furthest from the center of the system, a barren planet, and an arid planet with a badlands climate in the habitable zone. The inhabited planet has a single barren moon with a strong magnetic field surrounding it.   The inhabited planet has undergone a severe and irreversable climate change. Life is cheap on this planet and the locals who have survived have organized themselves into many large clans that fight over the planet's last dwindling resources. Powerful ion storms wrack the surface frequently, each the size of an overland hurricane.   There is rumors of a new clan rising in the northern wastes. They are calling themselves the Shield Brethren and they've been making broadcasts on open comms encouraging those who want a new life, and those kicked out of other organizations to come and find them. All are welcome so long as they are willing to work and fight.
