Dreadburgh

Dreadburgh is the name of the sole settlement The Weeping Company claims as their own on the planet Nesuna.    Dreadburgh is a bit of a misnomer, as  brilliant island of brass, silver, and gold perched in the middle of a massive lake sends pillars of light into the sky. The only dark structure here is a large iron grey donjon like tower in the center of the city where Weeping Company Command works tirelessly to keep their home safe.    Highways and suspension bridges lead into the city from the North, West, East, and South, and each road is a multi-hued hyperlane allowing mass transit vehicles from shore stations, private ground vehicles, and light-bike type gravbikes to pass from the shore to city at speeds the transhuman shells can take.   Aquafarms grow kelp, farm fish, and filter valuable minerals from the waters surrounding the city, and gunboats patrol the surrounding waters.
