Calidorius Odenburg
Born on Miriam in 2645, Calidorius (Cali to his friends) Odenburg was the only child of Knight Captain Frederik Odenburg and Priestess Nerissa Odenburg. He was born in the Temple of the Knotted Wheel and immediately inducted as a squire in the Justice of Vidarr, but was less than three months old when the Brothers of Fenrir under Knight Commander Dagget led the slaughter against the temple. Calidorius barely escaped with his life, protected only by the sacrifice of his parents and the protection of Knight Commander Lancaster.
Calidorius grew up in the ruins of the Temple, cut off from the outside world by the Great Freeze, his only companions were the other survivors of the slaughter. He and his cousin Viola, under the tutelage of Knight Commander Lancaster and Elder Kenmore, were taught the ways of the Shaori. Calidorius demonstrated the martial aptitude of his father, combined with the compassion and clear head of his mother. It became obvious from an early age that the future of the order would be forged by Calidorius.
Soon after Caldidorius (and Viola) had been anointed a knight and constructed his Divapen (divine weapon), the hammer Frostwind, Elder Kenmore finally restored contact with the outside world. The first transmission heard in 20 years to fall upon Shaori ears was “...ivedi has been elected Governor of Miriam. Celebrations are being held across the planet”.
The Temple of the Knotted Wheel was still in ruins, no new recruits had been taken in a generation, and the influence of the Shaori was no longer existent. But communications were open again and Calidorius was ready to restore the Shaori to their former glory.
In July of 2667, Calidorius accompanied by Temple of the Five Suns Sunblade Deckard Alfin joined a combined assault when the homeworld of the Brotherhood of Fenris was located. The assault was swift , and though Deckard lost his life to the Psi-Mech reincarnation of Knight-Commander Dagget. Calidorius has since returned to the temple after a long vacation- which has now been repaired.
