Session 2: A Thorn in my side
General Summary

It is here Thorn shown the team what they truly look like as this statue like cat with unnatural precise movements leapt towards the Blindheim in the dark and the fight in caves began.
Fighting their way in through the caves past the Blindheim, giant beetles, and a group of gremlins that proved exceptionally deadly and used a cold poison and tactics. The group was left to decide to do next.
Expanded notes Provided by Lyn LoreThe Torch Flame
Massive column of purple fire for nearly two years
Scorched the top of the hill black, hence the name Black Hill
While it requires no fuel, the torch, usually the size of an adult human, is hot enough to melt difficult metals, like adamantine and other skymetals
Flame points inconsistent
Some points hot enough for instant incineration
Others won't even light a piece of paper
Pillar of fire erupts several times a year
Reaches into the sky with a fire hot enough to melt everything on the hilltop into a steaming glass
These explosions are preceded by flashes in the torch that the townsfolk recognise as a warning
Smiths and metalworkers have adapted to this with mobile workshops
Previously
The Leftovers
Water-breathing used to get to the cave
Creature: A Blindheim

Tends to bite

Claws on both hands

Eyes Thorn hit dim
More behind it
Actually two of the creatures
Fighty!
Moving East
Detect Magic
Small blip
Killed off all the gremlins
As the town's namesake, the Torch flame, a permanent violet flame has continuously burned on top of Black Hill since it spontaneously ignited in 4602 AR and blazed as a massive column of purple fire for nearly two years, scorching the top of the hill black before subsiding.Deep in Black Hill, is where the self-appointed “Leftovers” decided to venture as the unsanctioned 2nd expedition although with Joram seemed willing to allow you the ability to breath air for a short amount of time. Used to dive deeper into the Hill to follow Khonnir Baine.
While it requires no fuel to maintain, the Torch —usually the size of an adult human—is hot enough to melt difficult metals like adamantine and other skymetals. The flame's properties are inconsistent, however, with some points hot enough to instantly incinerate what it touches and others unable to ignite a piece of paper.
A pillar of flame reaching several miles into the sky erupts from the Torch several times a year and melts anything on the hillock into steaming glass. These explosions are always preceded by flashes in the Torch that townsfolk learned to decipher as a warning, and its smiths and metalworkers have adapted by using mobile workshops instead of permanent structures.
