Vern Skald

A knight of the Long Table who became a Herald after a quest made him unfit to continue on as a warrior. He lives in the Portmond District and divides his time between various inns and taverns across the Outer Ring. Most of the time he spends his nights at the Grit & Ale in Portmond as he is rumored to be in a relationship with Therena the Blade, the owner of the establishment. He recruits members for the Circles of the Outer Ring, the so-called hedge knights and has a personal dislike for the High City Circles.
