Eastmarks

A region of fertile hills 50 to 100 miles wide surrounding the southern and eastern part of the Lorewood. Officially claimed and controlled by the city of Keralon, the Eastmarks provide the city with food and lumber. The hills are home to dozens of villages and small towns of farmers and loggers. Mostly humans and halflings have made their home here, but some elves, half-elves and gnomes can be found among the local communities. The area consists of tall grassy hills and wide fertile valleys. Small forests and hedges dot the area. Goblins and kobolds have found their way in to the area as well, making their homes inside small caves or freshly dug dens within the hills. The area is heavily patrolled by Keralon soldiers, so the threat these creatures pose to the other settlers is limited.
