Artuzia (Ar-tu-zee-ah)

Meaning: Ashy Barren-lands Once home to the greatest elven cities, this is the origin point of the Adjoining. Now barren wastelands, Artuzia is only home to monsters and the most hardy individuals. The once sacred mountain, now tainted by the plane of fire has become an unstable volcano, is said to be a birthing place for dragons. Approaching this volcano is far from advisable. Buildings and Settlements:
The ancient architecture of the elves stands in ruin smoldering. In most cases the buildings here were reduced to blackened mounds of rubble. Environment and Weather:
The lands here are ravaged by electrical storms, firewinds and regularly engulfed by thick ash clouds. Wildlife:
Artuzia is said to be the nesting grounds of Dragons, Drakes, Wyverns and Wyrms, due to its heat being ideal for incubating eggs. Mephits, Hellhounds, Fire giants and Phoenix’s are other creatures from the songs and stories.
