    Age of Conquest
    Era beginning/end

The Age of Conquest was the rise of major empires. The Akathians in the east, the Ipsum in the center, the Delmeriv in the South, and the Rell Kingdoms in the West. This age of constant war would in the waning years set the stage for the first major large scale wars of history. Massive Empires with vast hordes of resources and manpower clashing head to head for dominance over the known world.

    Age of Ipsum
    Era beginning/end

The Age of Ipsum was filled with conquest and the subsequent quelling of rebellions. The Ipsum Empire dominated the mainland and controlled most of the known world after a series of campaigns under countless emperors. This era is the most well known era as it was known as an age of relative enlightenment for the citizens of the empire. While this is indeed the case studys and dig sites have revealed that the empire was built on the backs of slaves and marginalized peoples with countless mortal rights violations across their territory. In the waning years of the Ipsum Empire the weak emperors of the time could do nothing but watch as they where defeated over and over again by groups of rebels in the far corners of their empire. Soon, the losses began to stack up against them and the subsequent chaos resulted in the dissolution of the empire and the rise of the first nations we know and live in today.

    The Great Shattering
    Era beginning/end

The beginning of the Great Shattering was comparable to a great catastrophe. The fall of the Ipsum Empire resulted in the loss of many great technologies but did in fact mark the restoration of national and cultural identities that where at the time thought to be lost. The rest of the Great Shattering era was a great reclaiming of national and regional identity as well as the drawing of many familiar country lines that we know today.

    The Era of Enlightenment
    Era beginning/end

The Age of Enlightenment did not represent a dramatic age in terms of warfare or expansion but did mark the rapid acceleration of technology laying the foundations of the technology and world we live in today. Air ships, lightning rails, multistoried buildings, guns, automatons, etc. Additionally, the Age of Enlightenment marked the beginnings of many people having more free time to perform whatever tasks that brought joy to them and as a result we see the middle class having access to the same level of learning and research as the upper class did allowing for innovation to run rampant.
