The moons

The five moons of Ionnarus are closely tied to both the magic of the realms and the calendar itself.   The three major moons are closely tied to the balance of law, chaos and neutrality while the two smaller moons are tied to good and evil. The major moons shift in color depending on the battle between the good and evil forces of law, neutrality, and chaos. The minor moons never change color, but can only be seen by beings of their respective alignment.

Laluan:

Tied to the deities of Law (battles between good and evil shift it's color between black and white, but typically it appears grey)

Neuluan:

Tied to the deities of Neutrality (battles between good and evil shift it's color between red and blue, but typically it appears purple)

Chaluan:

Tied to the deities of Chaos (battles between good and evil shift it's color between white and red, but typically it appears pink)

Minor Moons

Tied to the deities of good and only visible to beings with a good alignment
