Death, the Three
The psychopomp, the Judge, and the Ruler. Death exists as a part of nature and a divine trinity.
Death has had many names and many faces, but their purpose has stayed the same: maintain the natural order of life and death. They do this in threes.
The Psychopomp
The first form a soul should meet Death in is the Courier. Youthful, tall, draped in a dark cloak and hood with Hermes like speed, they navigate the material plane. When a creature with a soul on the material plane dies, they are taken by the Courier; the fastest of the Three.
The Judge
The second form a soul should meet Death in is the Judge. With a disembodied face
