Thilt System

The Thilt System, is a binary star system located near the outer edge of Human colonized space in the Orion Arm of the Milkyway Galaxy, about 210 lightyears from Sol. The System has been documented and marked for exploration by Humanity, but as of yet no exploration team has been dispatched to it. Thilt consists of twelve worlds currently occupied by three sentient races: the Caniic, Tigriic, and Sauruanian. The Thilt System contains the planets Loucarro, Atis, Tíreia, Anzion, Nitis, Corth, Unerth, Tilnypso, Drotonerth, Xagroria, and Awei orbiting the twin suns of Thilt A and Thilt B.   1. Loucarro, or Thilt I, is the first and innermost terrestrial planet located within the Binary Thilt system of the Orion Arm of the Milkyway Galaxy. Loucarro is in an extremely close orbit to both Thilt-A and Thilt-B, making any long term habitation impossible. Needless to say, the Caniic and Saruranian maintain a military training outpost under the surface.   2. Atis, also known as Thilt II, is the second terrestrial planet within the inner habitable zone of the Binary Thilt system of the Orion Arm of the Milkyway Galaxy. Atis was first colonized in 2012 following the Colonization Wars in 2010 between the Caniic and Sauruanian. Atis is a rough, mountainous world with only one small ocean and dozens of lakes.   3. Tíreia - also known as Thilt III, is territorial planet about the same size of Earth. It has three main continents and several smaller islands seperaled by two large oceans. Tíreia is a lush world with several grasslands, thick forests, marshlands, a small desert, and one long mountain range. Tíreia is home to three sentient races: the Caniic, Tigriic, and Sauruanian. Several other animals also roam all the lands, seas, and air.   4. Anzion, or Thilt IV, is the fourth planet with the Thilt System of the Orion Arm of the Milkyway Galaxy. In both size and atmosphere, Anzion is considered to be the sister planet to Tíreia (Thilt III however, unlike Tíreia which had four continents, Anzion only has one continent with deep canyons, mountainous valleys, and a large open grassland.   5. Nitis - or Thilt V, is a large oceanic world with two tropical islands. Caniic have three underwater cities here along with a beach resort on the larger island. Several unique aqudic life not seen anywhere else in the galaxy are found swimming in the vast oceans of Nitis.   6. Tilnypso, commonly known as Thilt VI, or Oraha to the Yictan, is lush forested terrestrial world within the Binary Thilt System of the Orion Arm of the Milkyway Galaxy. First discovered by Caniic astronomer, Zanla Samiten in 1898 and colonized in 2477. The planet was later gifted to the Tigriic by the Caniic Hierarchy in 2531 to celebrate the anniversary of the two species' meeting. Tilnypso, prior to its colonization, had to be partly terraformed to thin the levels of methane in the atmosphere.   7. Unerth, or Thilt VII, is a terrestrial planet within the outer-habitable zone of the Thilt System of the Orion Arm in the Milkyway Galaxy. Unerth, unlike the other terrestrial planets in the system, is a rocky, volcanically active world. Though there are temperate forested areas.   8. Drotonerth, Thilt VIII, or Quenka to the Yictan, is a temperate world of forests and swamps within the Thilt System of the Orion Arm of the Milkyway Galaxy. Mats of algae covering large portions of the planet's surface. The atmosphere is typically foggy, and carries a greenish hue. Drotonerth, aside from the numerous sauruanian cities that dot the planet's surface, possesses dozens of long-forgotten Yictan ruins from millions of years ago. The name 'drotonerth' is derived from the sauruanian words 'droto' meaning 'thick forest' and 'nerth' which loosely translates to 'moist land'. So the name translates to 'moist land of the forest'.   9. Xagroria, Thilt IX, or Eirnatia by the Yictan, is the Ninth planet in the Thilt System within the Orion Arm of the Milkyway Galaxy and the furthest in the Outer-Habitable zone. Xagroria is a heavily forested mountainous world under the control of the Sauruanian who stook claim to the planet just days before the caniic could mount a colonization group. Little is known Xagroria as it contains an incredible thick atmosphere that blocks nearly all means of survey scans.   10. Gaetera, also known as Thilt X, is a deep-purple ice giant and only gas giant within the Thilt System of the Orion Arm of the Milkyway Galaxy. Gaetera is composed of Iodine vapor, water, ammonia, and methane in a supercritical phase of matter, which astronomy calls "ice" or volatiles. The planet's atmosphere has a complex layered cloud structure and has the lowest minimum temperature (49 K (−224 °C; −371 °F)).   11. Corth - is a dwarf planet half the size of Tíreia. It is a barren world with a thin atmosphere and very little vegetation. However, Corth is also a rich world for mining rare and valuable minerals. The Caniic have several mining domes collecting metal for use in the construction of starships.   12. Awei, also known as Thilt XII, is a dwarf planet and the furthest in the Thilt System within the Orion Arm of the Milkyway Galaxy. Awei has no atmosphere and is seen as extremely cold. Though, uninhabitable, the Caniic Hierarchy has establisted several mining domes for the rich plethra of metal ore that is there.
