Vice Chief of Command of the Army and Naval Operations

The vice chief of command of the army and naval operations is the principal deputy to the chief of command of the Army and Naval Operations, and is the second-highest-ranking officer on active duty in the Department of the Army and Navy.   The vice chief of command generally handles the day-to-day administration of the Army and Naval Staff, freeing the chief of command to attend to the interservice responsibilities of the United Chiefs of Command. By statute, the vice chief of command is appointed as a either a Marshel General or a Rear Admiral (full grade) in the Hierarchy Army and Navy while so serving.   The incumbent vice chief of command of the Army and Navy, since Julay 33, 2720, is Marshel General Bjora Quiriansǫgr.
