She was also a male to female transgender woman before becoming biologically female. Though, Serenity never considered herself to be a woman, nor did she feel trapped in the wrong body, she simply just enjoyed presenting as female. Now she fully sees herself as a woman.

Serenity is the elder daughter and third child of General Isaac Bennett, commander of the TODT and Mary Jane Lorne, a renowned runway model. Her parents were supportive of her from a young age, and they were accepting of her gender identity, even when others were not. Serenity has two older brothers, Taylor and Joshua, and one younger sister, Melissa, who have always been her biggest supporters, and they share a close bond despite their busy lives. She has been happily married since 2710 to former highschool classmate, Edward Morris. Serenity is also the proud mother of a thirteen year old son, Isaac, who she loves more than anything. Serenity and Edward's relationship has been a strong one, built on a foundation of mutual respect and understanding. However, Serenity's work with OSI often keeps her away from home for extended periods of time, which can be a strain on their relationship. Nevertheless, they make it work with frequent communication and visits when possible.
