He is the only one who knows and understands the true Vey’Zari history of both the Fall event 1,725 years ago and the Pre-Fall eras. Those who sense the weight of his awareness instinctively recognize that to confront Rhalis is to vanish. His understanding of history allows him to manipulate entire populations, craft ideological narratives, and construct enduring power structures.
Rhalis’s record is so extreme, so uncompromising, that even the most blood-thirsty raider would back away.
