Halveth
Halveth was a major goddess in the Thauzunian Orthodoxy, associated with extinction, absolute termination, and the end of all life. In pre-Fall belief, Halveth did not govern death on an individual level, but the permanent end of lineages, species, cultures, or systems. Her domain represented disappearance without replacement.
Orthodox doctrine treated extinction as the most extreme failure of stewardship. Halveth embodied the consequence of sustained neglect, overreach, or irreversible damage. Unlike Tharek, whose domain involved collapse that might give way to renewal, Halveth represented endings without continuation. Her presence indicated that recovery was no longer possible.
Halveth was rarely invoked and never appealed to for intervention. Pre-Fall teachings framed extinction as a condition to be avoided through restraint, balance, and foresight. Once within her domain, reversal was considered impossible. Halveth reinforced the Orthodoxy’s emphasis on long-term stability and continuity over short-term gain.
No knowledge of Halveth survives into the post-Fall era. There are no remaining references to her name, role, or conceptual framework in modern Vey’Zari society. The Thauzunian Orthodoxy itself is unknown, and with its collapse, all structured understanding of Halveth disappeared. She is not remembered, worshiped, or reinterpreted in any form.
