The Panzer Unit

The Panzer Unit's average Warforged was based on the anatomy of the average young and fit male Goliath; to be tall, muscular, strong, swift, and capable of executing the night raids on enemy encampments... though they often razed small villages and towns as well.

Composition

Manpower

The average Panzer Unit was a small battalion; they were designed raid and raze villages, encampments, and small towns overnight.

Equipment

Typically they were outfitted with heavy armor and large shields.

Weaponry

The weaponry was on the cheaper side, most Warforged in this outfit were issued handaxes for both close quarters and midrange combat. A savage weapon for a savage company.

Vehicles

The tended to travel by foot, but for distances they may have ridden in carts.

Structure

The Warforged were all of the same rank and did not answer to other Warforged, a squishy humanoid captain or commander directed the Warforged in battle who in turn answered to their generals who answered to Arthund Courte.

Tactics

The tactics of the Panzer Unit were twofold: The Unit divided itself in half; with one half assaulting the target directly and causing as much chaos and bloodshed as possible with their axes and lanterns, and the other half encircled the target with closing ranks and shields aloft to ensure none escaped.

Training

The training was minimal, as the Warforged were "born" knowing how to fight and kill; everything from then on was experience.

Logistics

Logistical Support

They had minimal support, runners directed messages and commands. The unit itself the spent most of its time behind enemy lines causing as much pain and chaos as possible, they were in short a terrorist unit.

Auxilia

They had minimum auxiliary forces themselves, though on occasion they help or support other Panzer Units or the rest of the main force in larger skirmishes.

Upkeep

Warforged needed minimum upkeep, though they occasionally need proper maintenance after particular long battles. It was easier however to simply dispose of and replace Warforged than it was to fix them most of the time.

Recruitment

There was no true recruitment, Warforged were crafted by the hundreds. If a Unit needed more Warforged, they requisitioned and they got them within a week typically.

History

The Panzer Unit's history is both brief and bloody, they were often referred to as "Will-O-Wisps" due to their blue and yellow lit lanterns on their hips or in there hands when they came at night. They brought misery, death, and fear wherever they went.

Historical loyalties

Like all Warforged Units, they were unquestionably loyal. They were children who just wanted to please the ones that made them.
