Common
Common started as a trade language across most civilizations. Almost every sentient civilized being spoke a smattering of it, and many were fluent. Similar to English there are many forms of Common just as English has Southern, Northern, European forms, Australian forms, etc. Many non-human entities in remote areas can speak common poorly if at all.
Some Examples of Common are Imperial Common, Nomadic Common, and Undercommon.

Spoken by Human, Elves, Half-elves, Half-orcs, Halflings and Dwarves.
May be spoken by Gnomes, Orges, Giants, Goblins, Celestials, Demons, Devils, Elementals, Fey, Underdark traders, and others. While common may be spoken by these it is often only a few words or very broken.
