Gnomes

The third mortal species, created by the goddess Halice. They were made to be creative and curious. During the Titans' Era, they lived in a dizzying, chaotic city called Kioranth. The center of the city was the great Kioranthi Library. The Grand Archivist was ultimately the most powerful person in the city, but it was run by a council of experienced elders.   During the Titans' War, the great city was completely destroyed. Many gnomes managed to escape, finding safety in caves and underdark tunnels. Some gnomes never left the tunnels, but most began living only semi-underground lives. Their culture remains very focused on learning and meritocracy, but they have been fractured into different clans. The majority of gnomes live in the foothills of western Gatsina.
