Witchknit Shawl

Description

Made with the brightest colours with the oddest patterns you've ever seen, this shawl is a masterpiece of magicks. The threads are soft but strong and smells faintly of woodsmoke and herbs. This shawl is the result of a coven collectively chanting it into being. This makes it a completely unique piece every time one is made.

Effect

Every shawl looks different and has unique capabilities. The one I have is one that is able to allow you to tell when someone is lying to you. This shawl in particular also grants the ability to resist the cold, and it always feels as though you've held it to a fire. Some covens say that if you mistreat them, you can obtain the Snagging Curse. Thankfully, mine is not cursed, as it is in pristine condition. As for who may buy it, the Shawl chooses them, and so far it hasn't found one that it likes.

Where I Obtained It..

One may obtain it from ruins of covens, some may sell it for a price not necessarily paid in coin, and often it finds you. I obtained this one from someone who had obtained it from a coven of witches that sold it to me for certain ingredients that they needed. Anyway, the shawl has decided I am not its owner and is waiting for the right one to come along.
