Stuffed Twilight Caps

These delightful stuffed mushrooms come in packages of four and cost 3 AC

Description and Effect

A savory finger food favoured by the Faeries and Elves of the Faewilds. Stuffed indigo or violet mushrooms with a savory stuffing and a sweet-tart glaze on top. One is able to obtain all of the ingredients for this dish in forests where the veil between the Faewilds and Physical plane is thin. These mushrooms are known to calm anxiety. They are usually served at royal events, like balls and important meetings, or at weddings to the newlyweds before they get married. Best enjoyed under the stars.

Ingredients

12 large Twilight Mushrooms, cleaned and de-stemmed
3 Tablespoons of Dewberry Glaze
1 Teaspoon of Starlight Dew
8oz of Forest Herb Cream Cheese, softened.
1 Teaspoon of freshly ground Moonpepper seeds.
1/2 Cup of finely diced Willow Root
2 sprigs of Silverherb
Salt to taste.

The parties I've been to with my Father would put edible glitter or gold on top as well. Or, they would even put edible pearls.

Instructions

1. Gently take the stems out of the mushrooms and set them aside. Nothing should be wasted.
2. Place a skillet on medium heat (or a small spritefire, if available.) and when the pan is up to temperature, add the mushroom stems and the diced Willow Root. Sautee them until soft and fragrant. Add the crushed Moonpepper seeds and salt.
3. Mix the sauteed mushrooms and roots with the Cream Cheese and the Starlight Dew. Pipe the mixture into the mushroom caps and top with another cap. Place in Starlight Oven for 12-15 minutes at Dusklight setting until softened and fragrant. Meanwhile, heat the Glaze on medium , and add the Silverherb.
4. Drizzle the glaze over the Stuffed Mushrooms and adorn the top with crispy Willow Root. Serve warm.
