Usage and Effects
Usage
A potion that can seemingly stop time itself, or at least show you parts of it. Generally, this potion is used in classrooms. Some that have bought one from me never tell me what its for, but I have my suspicions that they're for interrogation. For best results, consume at the top of an hour. Keep the dosage to ONE per MONTH. Otherwise you risk losing the memory entirely.Effect
This potion causes a single 30-second memory to be played like a projection for others to see. This is useful for various things such as teaching, especially history. Or, proving innocence of a criminal (or condemning them).Instructions
1. Start by grinding the clockwork rust until it starts to glow yellow. If it starts to glow green or blue, stop immediately.2. Add a tincture of Sorrowstem in to the mixture and make a paste.
3. Warm in a wax spoon until it hums a song that seems familiar yet you can't place.
4. In the cauldron add water, Ghost Antler Marrow, and stir clockwise twice.
5. Sprinkle in around 2 handfuls of Wyrdweb Silk. At this point you're going to want to stir the cauldron with the silver rod counter-clockwise 24 times. One for each hour in the day.
6. Add the Sorrowstem and Clockwork Rust and stir horizontally until the mixture reflects your face the way it looked when you were 5.
7. Allow the mixture to slow. Then speed up. Finally, bottle the potion when it decides to stop moving completely.
8. After bottling, wrap the chain around the bottle and attach it with sealing wax that has sand from an hourglass mixed in.
Something to note about this concoction. If you drink this potion more than you should, you risk losing the memory you are trying to project. Some, don't care either way, the more they lose themselves, the closer they are to the thing they're trying to remember.
Anyway, fun fact: This potion smells good but also tastes good. Like a home cooked meal froma distant memory.
