Usage and Effect
Usage
Dreammoss Draught is used to enhance prophetic dreams, lucid dreaming and sometimes artist inspiration. Rumored to happen during the lucid dream state, the Draught can restore lost memories. Some moon-worshipping cultures use it as a means to supposedly talk to the recently deceased in dreams. A single sip of this potion is enough to cause the lucid dream state that so many seek. One of the best methods to practice after consumption is to lie down immediately after drinking it.
Effect
The first effect is the sense of floating within the mind and the user is usually asleep within minutes. The second effect is the user enters the dream state where they may gain prophetic visions or obtain lost memories. The ability to retain details of dreams usually lasts between 1-5 days.Instructions
1. In a silver or glass cauldron, bring Silverdew to a gentle simmer. Then, add the Dreammoss Spores and stir counter clockwise 5 times.
2. Slowly incorporate the Whisperbone while whispering about places you long to go. This binds the draught to the ethereal dream state.
3. Add 5 drops of the Starroot Essence, one for each finger on the hand you are using to hold the vial. The mixture should sigh or hum when it is stabilized.
4. Let the liquid cool and calmly stir in some Lunar Milk, for its dream state potentcy. (This step is completely optional.)
5. Remove the liquid and strain through the spidersilk scarf. Ladle into vials and store away from light and noise. Preferably, somewhere the Ethereal likes to leak. The potion must not be exposed to laughter or crying during bottling.
Side effects include something like Onierovores appearing in your dreams and hunt you down. Or your soul casually trying to escape into the Ethereal. Anyway, be cautious.
