Most frequently, you should be able to find these beautiful, medicinal flowers is in the Myyrdeep Fen, a fog choked swamp where they grow on the ghostwillows above the peaty water and muck. The next place that seems to have these are the Redspire Highlands, an iron rich land that seems to permanently be red. The last place I have found them is the The Outer Glen of Uyr. This glen resides in the Spirit Woods and is the veil between the waking world and the realm of the dead.

Properties

The leaves and petals of this plant can be ground into a paste and bonded with Unicorn Horn Shavings to create a coagulating balm that is able to heal wounds faster than they normally do. The leaves themselves can be used as a sort of bandage ointment, by taking the outer membrane of the leaf off and wrapping cloth bandages around the appendage. It depends on when you are able to obtain the flower that its potency is determined. As the Bloodpetal Bloom follows the lunar cycle, when you harvest it. Ideally, you'd like to obtain it during the half moon phase. Full moons cause the flower to become corrosive and caustic. New moons wild the flower and nullify its powers.

Gathering and Preparation Instructions

There are four very important rules when harvesting the petals or leaves. never take the whole plant, always gather in night, always leave an offering of blood (animal blood suffices) and always use an obisidian blade to cut the materials off of the plant. As long as you remember the lunar cycle, the plant should be harmless to gather and should give no issues at all.
