Main Ingredients and Equipment

Ingredients
    • 1 Quart of Wintershade Sap
    • 1 Frostblossom
    • 1 Small Frost Wyrm Heart Shard
    • 1g Crushed Frostquartz
    • 1 Pinch of Silver shavings.
Equipment
    • Frost resistant cauldron
    • Crystal stirring rod
    • A fire using Frostwood.
    • Frost resistant glass vial
    • Openable metal cap.

Usage and Effect

Usage
To use this, simply apply it to the blade you are wanting to, and wait 10 seconds. This particular type of blade oil is best used on metal that won't crack under the cold that the oil produces. When applied, it has the ability to shatter bones, brittle wood and glass if struck in the right way. usually lasts around 3-8 strikes with the weapon its applied on.
Effect
Can deal cold damage on your opponent, and has been known to cause extreme frostbite. Highly effective against Fire-adhering opponents and Fire Elementals. On a particularly good hit, the Frost Wyrm Heart Shard has been known to react and cause the opponent to become frozen solid.

Instructions

    • 1. Start the fire with the Frostwood, letting the fire burn for about 10 minutes.
    • 2. Pour in the Wintershade Sap and bring to a soft boil
    • 3. Add the Frostblossom, it should release a draft of frigid air
    • 4. Slowly add the Frost Wyrm Heart Shard and let dissolve. This should dye the mixture blue.
    • 5. Sprinkle in the Frostquartz little by little, and stir twice clockwise per pinch.
    • 6. Add the Silver Shavings to nullify any possible explosions that may occur
    • 7. Let the mixture warm to room temperature
    • 8. Pour the mixture into the vial, and affix the metal cap to the bottle. Make sure it clasps properly and does not leak.
    • 9. Use a minor enchantment to grow crystals on the top, just for fun.
I once met a gentleman that taught me how to make something of this ilk, and I put my own spin onto it. y'know, make it more marketable and such.
