    Founding of Chusett
    Founding

    Chusett had long before been established as a fort, but this day marked it becoming a township. The area was deemed to develop as a port for easier access to goods from the north.

    Chusett becomes a democratically operated city.

    1918 Labor Riots
    Civil action

    Rampant abuse from employers left many feeling forced to take action. Thousands organized the largest labor strike in Chusett which unfortunately turned to riots following the arrest of the arrest of Charles Doolan.

    Health of Chusett Bill Passed
    Civil action

    With the Health of Chusett Bill of 1947 came the powerful Administration for Safety and Health. Years later, many of the then councilmembers would regret their decision.
