The Clairvoyant

Clearly well taken care of. Not alethic but healthy.

On her back is a birthmark, a sword and beams of light coming out of it, all the color of blue stained glass. It sits just between her shoulderblades and when she uses her magic, it glows a bright blue, and a second, smaller one, appears on the back of her left hand.

Slim but soft face. Round open eyes. Thin eyebrows and a soft jawline with a gentle smile.

The birthmark on her back, assuming you see her back at all.

Clestial lumomancy, holy visions, divine empowerment, the ability to bless any weapon or liquid and can't be possessed.

She would prefer to wear simple clothes but as the leader of the Conjured Blade and Cydril, she has to dress for her roll. The clothes are beautiful; a flowing, high collared, star blue dress with silver and gold stich-work at the hems, collar and waistband. Over this, she wears a long sliver-white over dress, with loose sleeves, gold stich-work and gold buttons.   When traveling, she wears pale grey pants and boots with a star blue shirt and a snow white overcoat. While not the most descrete outfit, it allows her to run and even fight if necessary.

Adélaïde's earliest years were peaceful and safe. As the first child concieved and born into the family since the death of her great-grandfather, the previous Clairvoyant, the entire Order was excited for her brith and celebrated the arrival of the new Clairvoyant. She was loved, protected and cared for, the duties she would have to pick up currently taken care of by her parents and the Elder Fathers and Mothers of the Order. The tiny girl didn't have to worry about the world, not until she was a little older, not until her visions began.   Unfortuently, this was not the case for the small child. Most Clairvoyant's do get to enjoy a carefree childhood, only having to slowly step into the roll at around ten, when the visions begin. At the age of four, her parents went out into the main city, below the high temple, to have a night that was just the two of them. A carriage crash, a feak accidnet, claimed their lives.    Suddenly the only member of the Clairvoyant's family, the Conjured Blade became overly protective of Adélaïde. The young girl, who never went anywhere unescorted, now suddenly always had a minimum of ten guards with her. At ten, she started having her divine visions and at thirteen she gained access to her other powers. The Fathers and Mothers had the young girl trained to use her powers, at least to the point where, if necessary, she could defend herself enough in order to then run.   Adélaïde hated being told as a teenager that the only reason she was being instructed to use her magic was so that she didn't accidently hurt anyone in a possible outburst or to defend herself in order to then run.  You're too valuable. We need to keep you safe. It was infuriating.   Backing up a little, her best friend came into her life when she was twelve. Cédric Belmont, all of nine years old, was brought to the high temple by knights and sages who had gone out to answer a distress call from one of the small temples at the edge of Cydril. When they had arrived, they found the temple ransacked. Cédric was one of only three dozen survivors from a temple complex of almost five hundred. Neither of his parents were among the survivors.   Adélaïde immeditally took to Cédric and the two were inseperable within weeks. Cédric quickly began to view Adélaïde as a big sister and she saw him as a little brother. The two grew up side by side, Adélaïde being trained to be Clairvoyant and Cédric deciding a year after he arrived that he wanted to be a knight.    Now in her mid-twenites, Adélaïde has become a wonderful leader and is well respected as the Clarivoyant throughout the Hextarchy.

Has sexual impulses... Probably.

She has a decent knowledge of history, math, science, magic and politics. Also really likes animals and has a special fasination with dragon turtles.

She has managed continue cultivating a good relationship with the Black Sun, a group of humans who's base is very well hidden, and most have Infernal Magic. She is well aware how dangerous Infernal Magic and wishes that they could avoid having to learn to use it but understands that trying to ingore it is even more dangerous.   As such, the Conjured Blade is willing to work with Infernal castors who still fight for the gods, even give them shelter if they need it. Adélaïde has extended the aid they give to include those who are cursed, giving them special rooms to either allow them break free on their own or to have the Sages under her break the curse for them, even if it means preforming an extremely dangerous excorzisim.

She is intelligent but soft-spoken. This quiet nature allows her to observe her surroundings and gain a better understanding on how to handle a situation before speaking.

To do her job as Clairvoyant of Alyia to the best of her abilities.   To lead the Conjured Blade and Cydril to the best of her abilties.

She enjoys playing outside with her dog Cuivre, playing soccer with other people living at the High Temple and trying to sneak out of the Temple with Cédric in order to have a bit of fun in the city proper.   She doesn't like having to sit on the sidelines during festivals, it can be quite a challenge to convince her guards to let her go have a little fun. She also really dislikes onions.

She is very compasionate and is willing to help people in a difficult situation, especially if they were cursed.

When irritated, especially with the Fathers, Mothers or her guards, she can get a bit snarky. She also believes that they all still see her as a child rather than an adult who can make decisions for herself.

She will play with a yo-yo while talking with people. She knows a whole bunch of tricks. Playing with it both focuses her and keeps her hands busy.

Almost always neat and clean. Usually looks like a proper lady.

She is confindent and a bit of an extrovert but she has a quiet presence and tends to watch from the slidelines during celebrations after her role has been concluded.

A corgi named Cuivre. Cuivre is almost always with Adélaïde when she's home at the high temple but when she's traveling Cuivre doesn't always come with her.

She is generally soft spoken and gentle, with a calm and even tone.
