Lystra

Lystra, the Chaotic Good Goddess of Beauty and the Arts, is a creative and imaginative soul that tends to optimistically see something pretty in anything. Her domain presides over physically displayed crafts, both of the body, and of physical form. Her blessings are sought after by painters, sculptors, and those seeking to demand the attention of all around them- Princesses of cities seeking to be loved by all for their beauty, and so on.    Though she is good in nature, and holy by power, Lystra does not truly violently oppose other gods of evil and unholiness. Though these gods may hate her, none act out against her for some greater fear- And mortals often question Lystra's origins, and the possibility that her power is much more than believed to be. Lystra is often noted to have wandered into the hellish planes without any interference, simply to "Admire the scenery."    By mortal accounts, Lystra's appearance is never consistent, with the exception only being that her beauty can captivate any person she so desires. Every mortal has their own concept of pure beauty, and as a result, they all perceive her grace differently- Or so some say. Skeptics believe that she simply adjusts her appearance as she sees fit, and her appearance is fluid in such a way that it appears differently to every creature.    Lystra's clerics and paladins are known for appreciating the beauty in everything, beyond just faces and physical, created arts, and turn their eyes to the world around them- To creations not just born from the will to create, but of circumstance. There is beauty in everything, from bloodshed to mountains, and in embracing the emotions that come from that beauty, you embrace the world as it is meant to be- Or so believers say.
