Spooktober 2024

Spooktober is here, and I have huge plans for this challenge! These events are the highlight of the community for me, as they ignite a level of focus I’ve never achieved before. This will be my first time participating in Spooktober, and I couldn’t be more excited!

While Kaiju monsters don’t quite fit into my world’s lore, I’ve got something else planned-something that will tie all 21 prompts together into one grand, spine-chilling tale! I can’t wait to dive into it, and I hope you all enjoy the spooky season as much as I do. It is a difficult process to entangle all these together, so wish me luck!

When all the articles are ready and published, my vision is they will create a text-adventure game that will guide you through a mysterious, and chilling circus called the Twilight Macabre. As you embark on this eerie journey, you will face choices that can lead to thrilling encounters or dire consequences. Pay attention to your surroundings, make decisions carefully, and explore different paths to witness as many performances as possible. Your goal of course, is to escape this once a year nightmare!

Get ready to test your courage and unravel the mysteries that await you. Your journey starts from the "Lair", the circus itself. Good luck, and may you find your way through the shadows of the Twilight Macabre!

CONTENT WARNING: The following articles contain vivid and potentially disturbing descriptions inluding:
  1. Grotesque and unsettling imagery
  2. Body horror
  3. Themes of obsession, manipulation, and despair
  4. Depictions of torture and cruelty
  5. Psychological distress and existential themes
Please proceed with caution if you find these subjects distressing or triggering.
