Investigating the Terror of the Docks

The party begins to investigate the Terror of the Docks at the behest of the Noble Ohtindil Sepal, leader of the Silver Thread Faction.

The party spoke to the Mage Elrin, the creator of the Terror and learned his story.    Elrin is a mage who believes that his kind must be put in check due to the power they wield. At first he agreed with the mage ban, and was willing to help the Gold Crown faction freely. However he disagreed with there means when they ordered him to use his experiments in mutation to create a beast that could hunt mages.    When Elrin refused, Ashe Pinsey kidnaped his daughter and threatened to kill her if Elrin did not create a beast for her. Elrin began his work but when he took to long, Pinsey returned with an eye from his daughter, now placed in The Void    Elrin began to make alterations to the creature, it is capable of hunting mages, but he also attempted to give it a fondness of Pinsey blood, in the hopes it would take his revenge.   The creature has now escaped from Elrin and taken up in the docks of lower Proud Spire.    The party determined from the location of the bodies, the creature is moving from the shoreline (North) towards the South, deeper into the city.
