Tavar
Captain Tavar (a.k.a. The Mage Slayer)
Tavar is a Knight of Slymornia, he is an 8ft tall Goliath who wears full plate armor and carries a Great Sword.
The party first encountered Tavar in the city of Entolon, where he was serving as the outer ring guard captain. The party discovered he was assigned this position by King Bereic himself, and it seems that Tavar is among the kings trusted friends.
Briar had met Tavar prior to the events of Entolon, as Tavar was one of the many Knights that burned down Nayla's Gift during the Night of Ashes, Briar last saw his parents facing off against Tavar in their home.
He was last seen in the Outer Ring prison, where he was defeated by the party while they freed some allies and investigated the missing cart.
Tavar returned to fight the party during the battle of the Void. he attempted to cross a bridge in order to escape Glynnelis's spell and slaughter the two collard mages on its opposite end. However Claude cut the ropes of the bridge and Tavar fell hundreds of feet into the chasm below.
