Blight of Suncrest

The Blight of Suncrest, (A.K.A. The Blight) was a mysterious and deadly illness that began to spread throughout the duchy several decades ago. The Blight caused those infected to become weak and feverish, and over time it caused them to waste away until they eventually died. Despite the best efforts of healers and clerics, the disease continued to spread, taking the lives of thousands of Suncrest's residents. It was a dark and difficult time for the duchy, and the loss of so many loved ones left a lasting impact on the people of Suncrest. Eventually, through a combination of magical and medical research, a cure was discovered and the Blight was eradicated. But the memory of those lost to the disease still lingers in the hearts of the people of Suncrest
