Factions of the Fractured Peninsula
The T'avosh
Triton and Sea Elves who take to the land and "defend" the waters from who they see as invaders. Their allegiances are priorities are mostly unknown, since most other tribes steer clear of them. They have occasionally served as allies to the Rialds, however.
The Rialds
Druidic warriors that use their communion with the creatures of the forest to live peaceful lives. They eat vegetarian, have many nature rituals and festivals, and worship the Old Gods. Rialds don't start fights, but will finish any conflict that comes their way. They treat visitors well, but rarely accept a new druid into their ranks.
Ual'djit
(means "of the rock-land") A nomadic tribe in the wasteland-like mountains who can outmaneuver any opponent and defend their territory ruthlessly. In harsh winters, they are known for hunting other tribes in the night. The rumors say they do it for food, sometimes even to "absorb their enemies power" upon consumption.
The Nine Sails
A contract between nine pirate captains and their crews, all from various races, skills, and walks of life. They work independently but have agreed to aid each other against other factions and share plunders with one another peacefully. One must be careful when dealing with pirates in the Fractured Peninsula, because hurting one of the Sails means taking on their whole alliance.
The Jonnar
A nomadic sailing tribe, living from island to island in search of "The Final Promise," their religion's version of salvation. Most are seen as fanatics that follow the whims of their prophets, making their strategies unpredictable and dangerous to outside factions. You never know who the Jonnar will hurt next in their search for peace.
Kavaz-kondikai
A group of orcs, equally as proud as warriors as they are as scholars. They claim to be the original inhabitants of this ancient land and fight somewhat hopelessly to rid the Western Salamander of all other factions. They keep incredibly detailed histories, and hold grudges against hundreds of families and tribes for past wrongs.
The Landguard
An elite team formed by the royalty of Council of Yggdrasil to seek out resources, land, and political agreements with the peoples of the north. They're ready to fight if need be, but have become somewhat used to living peacefully off their land far from home. Some have found enough peace that they fear going back home.
The Drovas Divers
A tropical group of bandits that use dinosaurs to overpower their enemies. They are known as highway robbers and gatekeepers throughout the mainland of the Fractured Peninsula, usually willing to maintain peaceful relations with travelers so long as they get their pay. Many want them gone, but don't have the strength to fight against their elaborate tactics and trained dinosaurs.Remove these ads. Join the Worldbuilders Guild
