Kythana (Kuh-tha-na)
Kythana is a city located on the southern coastline of Cirrane. It is highly guarded and does not allow any outside visitors within its walls without permission from an inhabitant.
Demographics
Mortals live in Kythana; almost all of them are quite wealthy due to the city's connection to Lynoss and Prince Izar. They are all quite private and suspicious of outsiders.
Government
Although the city is ruled by the Aurale family, the family is controlled by Prince Izar. They enforce his will at all times and owe their position to him. The family controls a private militia that serves as the very strict law enforcement for the city.

The Bardic College of Kythana
One of the four Bardic Colleges of Illath-Ran resides within the gates of Kythana. This college is considered the most difficult to get into; to attend the college, you must impress a graduate from the college. Each graduate receives a single gold coin they can give to someone they wish to recommend to the college. This coin allows you a one-time entrance to Kythana and an interview to attend the College.
