Made Men
The Made Men are a corrupt group of mercenaries run by The Shadowcloaks. The Made Men are created by being ripped apart and made again, giving their well earned name. As an additional symbol of their enslavement, an extra pinkie toe is sewn onto their left foot, taken from their first kill as a member of the guild.
Origin
Originally formed in Fivale they eventually grew in number and power and spread across the continent, infiltrating many societies and towns. Despite their distinctive scars, they were still able to live relatively normal lives in between contracts, if not a bit secluded due to local discomfort. Many citizens know them to be men of honor, and know that if they aren't doing anything illegal, they likely have nothing to be worried about with a Made Man in their town.
What started as an experiment quickly evolved into a fine-tuned practice of creating dead men to be killers. Once word spread out of Fivale of this "discovery" the doctor responsible for making these men was brought to the capital of Eaglonon. Enlisted by the king to create his own company of unending killers, many centuries have passed and they still live on to this day. Most have been killed during their work, but as they have already died, age and illness doesn't affect them.
