Improvised Explosive Bats

Compassion and emotions have done nothing but get your precious creations massacred at the hands of your enemies... They'll be sorry now.

By modifying Grenades to be carried by a small, unthinking, and unfeeling mechanical bat, you've made it so a grenade can home in on a target! It follows your every command, so long as it is to "kill", "maim", or otherwise annihilate a target of your choosing.

By miniaturizing the explosive charge in favour for independent locomotion, you've managed to convert the blast from a large & messy shockwave to a precise and localized explosion only large enough to affect a single target.

These IEB's (Improvised Explosive Bats) have a range of 10 tiles.

You do not need to have line of sight on your target, but you must know that they are there.

You do not need to roll To-Hit either; as the bats can hit their target every time.


Note: You must unlock Grenades before unlocking this ability.

IEB's do not have an AOE. Although any augments that naturally have an AOE will still have that effect; but the main blast from the IEB will not.

No To-Hit required.

Crafting an IEB crafts ONE at a time.

The number of IEB's you can carry is shared wtih how many Grenades you may carry (I.g: If you have five (5) grenades, you can only carry five (5) IEB's. Three (3) grenades & seven (7) IEB's. etc...)

The grenade used to craft the IEB does not need to be augmented if you so wish to keep the explosive vanilla and tame.
