Mental Trauma
Basically her entire childhood - her entire family were slaves to the Black Market, all perishing in horrible circumstances. Her training was gruesome and terrifying. Rei ended up escaping them, but the memories still haunt her. Very paranoid, and has severe PTSD from her past.
