The date of creation agreed upon by the two major sects of Divinism.

The modern calendar system that the majority of Tera uses was created during the 11th century by a Divinist monk who was particularly obsessed with keeping time. He used the commonly used "beginning of life" as the beginning for his calendar.   On a completely unrelated note, there may have been a catastrophic event that occurred at this time, with fossil evidence leading most researchers to believe that there was a minor asteroid impact during this time period that killed a lot of the local life in the region now known as the Bridge of Creation.
