Lithzo
A walled city sitting in on the river Seol on Prach, a religious center of power for the Church of Divine (On Prach). (Authorial note: I realize that this probably going to get confusing with two different planets in the same universe.) During the dark ages, it became a center of trade and persisted even during the rebirth of culture and society, becoming a hub along the route between the two halves of the continent, east and west. Due to its position along the trade route, the Duchy of Lithzo, carrying the name from the city has made quite a bit of money from merchants passing through its lands, its nobility enjoying a high quality of life with exotic goods from all over the continent.
Demographics
During and after the dark ages, the majority of the population remained Lithian, however, after the dark ages, many different groups of people along the trade route between the east and west began to settle in the region as well.
Government
Lithzo's government is directly facilitated by the Duke/Duchess of Lithzo, and their advisors, the nobility beneath them, and other bureaucratic servants.
Defences
Walls, along with the army maintained by the duke/duchess and their subsidiaries.
Industry & Trade
Many buy and sell wares in the market just north of the river, near the city square, others gather and bring meat and vegetables from the foothills to the west along with bankers who facilitate the exchange of monetary systems and speculate on currency. The city and the area surrounding it are famous for the wool from the Daracha, a fluffy goatlike creature that dwells in the mountains. It is said to be one of the fluffiest animals in the world.
Infrastructure
One of the main routes through the city is the river, which the city straddles between its north and south sides, the river running west through town.
Assets
A lot of wealth from trade.
Guilds and Factions
The Church of Divine holds a great deal of power in the town, as it is one of the original holy sites designated by the Church. Supposedly it was the location of the death of one of the prophets that preached his magnificence, and thus had to be honored with great ceremony. As such, the duke/duchess of Lithzo has their power largely borrowed from the church's influence on the people, and thanks to their proclamation of celestial right to rule, they maintain a demi-deifiic status among the people, which helps them remain in power.
In contrast, the direct political pressure of the lower nobles of the court create many needs to keep those who are powerful in check while attempting to increase one's own political status.
Architecture
Many of the buildings are built with the dark Lond wood that is found in the area, with the larger, more rich structures being built either from the stone found in the quarries nearby, or imported from outside the area. A popular choice for many buildings is the smooth black marble that is found in some quarries in the western continent.
Geography
The river Seol flows through town, the city itself is nestled in the valley of Lithzo, playing the name equivalent of chicken and egg, peaks from the Lithic mountain range span the horizon providing a beautiful view for many a balcony.
