Floor Two

Where your adventure truly begins~

After completing the first-floor dungeon, players gain access to the second floor. Floor Two is an immediate improvement over Floor One. After they enter the second floor, players will notice that they can now move between the floors they have unlocked. The second thing players notice, they now spawn in a port. There's also a map that the players can use to navigate through this brand-new area they have entered.   With the training wheels off, players can access new features not available on the first floor. One key feature is the introduction to the guildhall. The guildhall offers players a place to rest, a quest board, and a way to create guilds. To create a guild, you need three players and one thousand GP. These guilds allow players to have a home base and gain many benefits that affect all guild members. While it is possible to progress throughout the game without joining one, it is suggested due to the benefits and having someone backing you up is never a bad idea. In addition, the floor admin who regularly hangs out in the central guildhall can answer any questions you may have.

Demographics

What you find on the second floor is pretty similar to the first. You will mostly see NPCs roaming around, doing their jobs, and managing the area. However, this time the player base is rather significant for two reasons. Either people are still exploring and uncovering the secrets of the second floor, or people have gotten stuck and looking for help.

Defences

The defenses are somewhat similar to the first floor. However, there are two distinct differences on the second floor. First, since there are better materials here, the NPCs can better arm themselves if anything is troubling them. Second, there is only one admin on this floor since people aren't as new as those who just started the game.

Industry & Trade

Floor Two is a port town. As such, they get all their materials and resources via trading. As a result, most of what the NPCs do to make a living is pretty varied. Some have jobs you would not expect in this simple town; however, that is private for the game's sake. However, the more common jobs seen are fishing, herb collection, mining, blacksmithing, and teaching new players what they can expect from the floor.

Assets

As an immediate improvement of Floor One, Floor Two has a lot of things you can buy in the bazaar. But because IDQ includes real-world logic, there are many more things you can buy than just your typical RPG stuff. So, it's too timely to list every improvement there is when it comes to the shops because of that.

Guilds and Factions

Here on Floor two is where this is possible. Players can make factions amongst themselves for several different reasons. Some guilds may be founded on friendship or made for business reasons. What is true for all guilds, those who are new don't hold any power within the game, but they can influence the world around them given enough time. Currently, there are no player-made guilds.

Points of interest

As previously stated, Floor Two is a direct upgrade to the first floor. As such, there are more exciting things to do here. In addition, instead of being regarded as only two areas to fight, there are now six locations packed with enemies to fight. There are also things to collect in these areas, and some even have bosses to fight in them. Because of these factors, the second floor caters to everyone.

Tourism

There's a couple of reasons to people come to this floor. One of them includes a nice onsen to relax. Besides enjoying the water, the onsen is relatively affordable and gives buffs to those who enter its waters. Speaking of water, floor two has a lot of locations based around water. Meaning people often go onto boats and go fishing. People fish to either get unique drops they usually wouldn't obtain from killing mobs, to relax, or someone feels like cooking some fish.   It seems that some people come to this floor to enjoy the atmospheres that it offers. For example, some people go to the beach to relax, avoiding the mobs there. Others go to the cave to enjoy the scenery or play with the non-hostile creatures of the area. Finally, and despite being uncommon, some people go to the swamp to relax despite the dangers it holds.

Geography

Besides the town itself, there are three prominent locations. First, to the west of the town, a cave system with different ore deposits later leads to a cave filled with crystals and crystal-based monsters. Second, to the north of the port, there is a beach area where a clan of fish monsters lives—the floor's dungeon is here. Finally, to the east is a swamp. This swamp is home to several dangerous and vicious creatures.

Natural Resources

There is a lot of resources on this floor. One of the important ones is gaining metal and crystal from the cave system. You could also get crystals from the beasts living if you are okay with killing non-hostile creatures. There are mainly just the fish people you can kill for resources and some seaweed at the beach. The monsters here drop chunks of their body and their weapons. In the swamp, there are a lot of creatures that give you interesting drops. To say the notable ones, you can obtain their body parts, poisons and venoms, plants, and strange magic-related items.
