Prehistory of Iconast

~35,000 BCE The Days of Thunder, the creation of Sentient Life in Iconast
  ~34,000 BCE The Saurids are the first Empire spanning the Welterglades in the East to the Coasts of Black Waters in the West
  ~32,500 BCE Corelan Larethian creates the first Eladrin and High Elves in the Jungles of Ceruleshear Valley
  ~32,000 BCE The Elves adapt to the ways of the Old Wood and introduce sentience to the Tortles. Meanwhile the Saurids exploring West into the jungles adapt to the lands there and settle in the swamps of Manawaters
  ~30,000 BCE Skerrit creates the plains Centaurs of the Shifting Plains. These later separated into three distinct groups, The Hronuhini, the Ylmazeyiri, and the Fallowhides.
  During this time the first human tribes begin to settle basic agricultural communities in the Paludisian River Valley
  ~27,850 BCE Deep Dwarves breach the surface world and some leave their homes forever to wander closer to the light.
  ~25,000 BCE The great Migration thousands of Elves travel north to the Elvenwood. This sees the creation of a subrace of Elves called wood Elves.
  A smaller cult of Elves settle the Northerpost Island. Some of these Elves will eventually become what is considered Moon Elves and Sea Elves.
  ~21,750 BCE The Saurid-Elf Wars. The massive Saurid Elf Wars reduce much of early civilization to dust. This causes the Fall of the Welterglade Empire and the dissolution of the Elven Tribes.
  A group of Elves seeking power in the darkwoods bind themselves to the ancient spirit of the Spiders, Lady Lloth
  ~19,650 BCE A dragon driven from its mountain home by the Dwarves eradicates a majority of the centaur tribe the Fallohides.This ancient dragon Yum Ynum creates magical servants from the unintelligent desert lizards. Creating the first Kobolds.
  Humans settle the Crimson Dunes and Crispin Woods. A communion between Wood Elves and Humans creates a prospering tribe on the Southern Tip of Castlerand Peninsula.
This Period of Movement of Human is often referred to by Scholars as the Great migration and continued on to the regions of the Limestone Cliffs of Northern Alurephas, Longpost, the Caligo Beaches and the Region known as the Ardent River Valley.
  Satyrs emerge in the North. Playfully running through the Dangerhorn Forest.
  ~15,000 BCE A subrace of humankind, the Halfling, appears in the Valleys of the Ardent River.
  ~14,500 BCE Goblins and Orcs appear in the North of Kagren and find themselves at home in the hills or Northern Frosty Coasts.
  ~13,000 BCE Some Humans adapting in the desert bind themselves to the Great Deity Malar. They become warped by this fanaticism and become the first Leonin.
  ~8,000 BCE The gift of Sentience is given to the catfolk of the Jungles of Alurephas, this gift was not given spontaneously and was done as Corellan Larethian was wounded and spilled blood upon the planet. This event spawned the fanaticism still seen in some of the valleys of the Old Wood.
  ~6750 BCE A great star fell from the sky and struck the area that is now known as the Azulean Bay. The loss of life devastated the indigenious Humans and halflings. It did however bring a mysterious life form known as the changeling.
  Worshippers of the Saurid Cults form within the Human Tribes. Granting their affinity with dragonkind. This creates the first dragonborn.
  4,457 BCE The Gods sign a pact to not influence the world for 5000 years. They anoint several clerics of each of their orders and are each allowed to create 1,000 Aasimar or Tieflings, the last gift of creation they can grant the world. The only deity that did not sign was Lolth. She was then cast along with her Drow into a sort of prison deep within the Earth and Drow were marked with ebony skin and white hair like their goddess to mark them as traitors.
