Glaslin mountains

Glasin mountains are in the north of Ibridia shielding it from the ocean and any navy attacks. Its often referred to as the shield of Ibridia. The nickname came form the name Glasin which is the name of the shield that Kahtoz uses and its home to the White wolves a military unit designed to handle threats to Ibrida from the outside.    The mountains are rich with Iron ore and mana stones.  The Glasin mines are famous for having high quality mana stones and are highly sought for.  Its frosty climate leads its people to depend on hunting as their main source of food. Most plant based foods are imported but basic crops like wheat are grown in community pastures. The mountains are rocky and the peaks are full of snow. Most of the population live near around the mountains but a certain species live higher up the mountains.    The jackove shifters have homes near the tops on the mountains. Their bodies have adapted to the high altitude and the climb isn't a problem since they can fly. They communicate with the outside world using sending spells. The trading relationship between jacove and the (lower dwellers (that what people who live around the mountain are called) is good.  The overall population is cheerful and loud with amazing hospitality. They are known as friendly bunch however also know for their excellent ability with hunting.   Galsin is also the home of the Galsin castle the estate of the Archduke of the north. The dukedom is new as the position of arch duke was gifted to Kayea Scarlet the second prince of Ibrida at the time. His son Ian scarlet inherited the title and is training his daughter Odette as the heir. The title has only been around for three generations however contains a lot of power behind it.
