Immediately prior to His departure, Tor commanded His Clerical Order to cleanse Iatar of The Chaos, so that history would be forbidden from repeating itself.

After the defeat of Asharaz, and the Cataclysm, Amnar and the other Gods determined it would be best for Iatar if they removed themselves physically from its surface. Tor believed it would not be prudent to leave the world in a state in which another like Asharaz might seek to gather for himself all the power of The Chaos and once again challenge the rule of the Gods. Therefore, He commanded His Clerical Order to traverse the lands of Iatar and cleanse it of The Chaos. With the help of Gorgoron, Tor bestowed upon his Clerics the ability to handle The Chaos, and deposit it within a pocket dimension, all but out of reach of the material world.   With this commandment as His last, The Order of Tor made it their sole mission to rid the world of The Chaos. They bowed to no ruler, and they power was night limitless during this cleansing. Those who stood in their path were annihilated, and those who sought to keep some of The Chaos for themselves were hunted down with extreme prejudice. Over the next 300 years the Order reigned supreme, methodically moving throughout the continents of Iatar with divine purpose to fulfil their mission.
