she was born into one of the first magical families of nobles, the Cains. she was born to the count Damien Cain and the countess Branwen Cain, formally Delmira. along with her twin sister, Valerie, she was taught in the old ways of magic and became a very phenomanal young witch. she was promised to marry a young count of another magical family known as the Seneca's. before their marraige could take place, the thing happened and a lot of magical blessed humans separated. taking sides of joinging different monarchs and governments, Valerie did not choose what her sister did. she felt betrayed by her, and never forgot, and never forgave.
