Sabine always felt slightly out of place in her home since she resembled more of a eastern-ocean women from Callanmaya, then a northener from Edurenn. Even her uncle Lord Ranveer commented to her mother that she looks like their eastern-born mother, with the family grey eyes and light hair. Just before her teen years, she was discovered to have witch-like powers. This resulted in many people being weary of her, including her own siblings. growing up was difficult, she spent a lot of time trying to control her powers and would get frustrated when she couldn't. She hated being different and that her powers made her different and became at war with herself, struggling to accept who she was, and resisted finding a balance with in her. she did not depend on her powers at all, she didn't want to. She took to learning archery, her older brother Jason taught her. When she was 18 her father and mother were murdered and she wanted to exact vengence on their killers. She tried to convince her brother Jason who was know King of Edurenn to avenge their deaths, but he said that getting revenge would create a war that they did not want. Sabine accused him of being a coward and that he was a weak king. She demanded that he go with her to get justice for their parents, when he denied again, she told him that he wasn't fit to be the leader of Edurenn. She made a speech in the village to her people, that she wanted to get justice for their former king and queen. The kingdom became split, with half of the people wanting to fight for Sabine and the other half wanting to keep peace and stay with Jason. Sabine led her people to go fight her parents killers, but when her brothers soldiers came coming to stop them, a civil war begun. Sabine and her older brother began The War for Edurenn.
