Goron

"Just look at all those delectable rocks sprinkled on those mountains. I may not know a whole lot about this Calamity Ganon thing but mark my words, I'll protect this land of ours to the death.""   -Daruk, Goron Champion
The Gorons also known as the Goron Tribe, are a race of rock people inhabiting Hyrule, Termina, and several other countries, typically living in mountain ranges. They have been called "rock people" since ancient times, when the goddess Hylia ruled and have long held close ties with the Hyrulean royal family.

A Hardy People

Supposedly a creation of Din, Gorons are powerful creatures who live near volcanoes and other high-heat or mountainous areas. They are naturally resistant to fire and consume rocks for sustenance. They appear to be a monogendered species and reproduce asexually. As far as anyone knows. They have the capability to thrive in any environment, and in times of crisis, have survived by migrating to different climes.

Gentle Giants

Gorons are tall, massive, and incredibly strong... yet they are most commonly pacifists who avoid combat whenever possible. Champions from Goron communities primarily train to fight monsters and other creatures that cannot be reasoned with, but those champions are a force to be reckoned with when fully unleashed. They are typically good creatures with pure hearts and boundless enthusiasm.
