Wolf

A fierce and cunning predator above all others, the wolf can be found in most habitats across the Forbidden Isles, with the Red Wolf even being found in the tropical Northern Isles. A population also exists naturally in Svotz, and a feral population has been established on mainland Porpuda at some point. Wolves are the ancestors of domestic dogs and come in packs capable of bringing down even cattle or aurochs when well coordinated enough, Eden attacking young murks when in big enough numbers.

Anatomy

With four legs and a furry build, it is obvious to anyone that wolves are kin to foxes, the sands wipers of the Sandstone Desert and of course domestic dogs.

Social Structure

Organised as packs, led by an elder couple and related individuals, Wolf hierarchies are firmly family based, and they coordinate effectively while hunting, with younger individuals often chasing fast prey to fall into a trap the older and slower adults have set.
