Bogir IV
His Imperial Majesty, Czar Bogir Vochislov
Current ‘ Velykoroj’ or emperor of the Vulgar, Bogir inherited the Tusked Throne from his father, Yvin II, in 750 AF, aged thirty-one years old. Having had plenty of experience in leading the nation before his father’s death from poor health, he is certainly a competent emperor, passionate about his people and his family, and wishing to ensure his empire is secure at any cost.
Whereas previous emperors had a more warlike stance, particularly with regards to the Dominion, their main rival in northern Tzunar, Bogir has a policy of armed neutrality, serving as a stalwart between the expansionist powers of the @Dominion and @Xu, who seem like it is only a matter of time before the two nations go to war. It is easy to see why such a strategy would work in such tense times, though many merely see it as a pragmatic act to see which power dominates, and thus who to exploit.

Personal history
Early childhood and youth
When his mother died giving birth to him, the future emperor’s father, Yvin II was often resentful of him. This furthered as the boy aged, showing himself to be a man of unusual stature, half a foot taller than his father by adulthood. The youth expressed a strong passion in hunting, especially in woods outside the imperial shrub due to their increased danger. This may have been an effort to gain his father’s approval. Along with this, he proved a surprisingly effective bureaucrat, familiar with the court system his father set him in. Throughout this, he also maintained a sour relationship with his stepmother, then-Empress Cecilia, which ended when upon ascending the throne, he effectively exiled her to the island city of Krekwov.Young adulthood and court life;
Bogir, once old enough to not require supervision, became enamoured with hunting, jousting and fighting. His stature and broad shouldered build made him popular with many a Volgar maid, and many of the other nations of the empire too for that matter. Unhorsing many a warrior, he became involved in the training of soldiers for the National Army. At this point, he became interested in the prize of the Vulgar Army, the Tusker. Wishing a personal one of these beasts besides those he trained, he went on multiple attempts to find wild tuskers to capture, instead of trying to take one of the semi-wild beasts of the Vol plain where the Czars normally obtained their mounts. At one point, his men reported encountering newborn albino and melanistic twins. Thrilled at the news, Bogir ordered for their taming immediately, but later found the two babies had been stolen by a vigilante and outlaw. Later that year, however, he settled for a tusker with one of its four tusks underdeveloped, naming the beast Little Tusk for its defect. Aged twenty-six, Bogir rejected his father’s first arranged marriage with his cousin Olga, then a year later, a second one with the Vochistov count’s daughter Suzira Dika, and settled instead for a blacksmith’s daughter, Luchenka, causing a scandal at court. Despite this, the marriage would be fruitful and Bogir would eventually father four sons and three daughters with her, securing the line of succession, as his only uncle, Nikolai, had taken a vow of celibacy to join the Priests of Zidiski.Ruling
Following his father’s death and his stepmother’s exile, Bogir’s ascension as Czar was relatively smooth, as his like of partying and hedonism won over the nobility and the commoners alike. His acts of charity such as opening orphanages nationwide also made him a popular Czar.Gender Identity
