Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Vaelith is basically a giant crystal cave, glowing pink from wall to wall. She doesn't have arms, legs, or even eyes, but she does have something locals call her "heart," a super dense crystal formation at the cave’s center. There’s also a pool nearby filled with minerals—apparently pretty important for her growth. During summer, sunlight slips through cracks in the ceiling and lights everything up, creating little shimmering patterns across the crystals.

Vaelith’s considered one of the oldest gods still active today, though good luck pinning down when she actually formed. The earliest known contact was around 1500 AD in what’s now eastern Germany, when a group of kids stumbled into a crystal cavern and ended up face-to-face with her (not that she had a face, but you get the idea). She apparently spoke a single word and changed everything. They came back enchanted, and from there, so did everyone else.
Since then, she’s been empowering anyone who wields words with weight, politicians, prophets, performers, you name it. Her magic is quick, clean, and convenient, with no upfront cost. Some say she’s mastered the strongest verbal spells known to magic. Others say she’s still just a pile of rocks with a good pitch. Either way, people keep talking and that’s all she really needs.
Gender Identity
Vaelith doesn’t really have a gender; she’s made of pink crystal and lives in a cave, not exactly what you’d call vertebrate material. So why “she”? Turns out, it mostly traces back to the German word for cave being feminine. When stories about her started spreading, that grammatical quirk stuck, and “she” just became the default in Common. Vaelith’s never objected and if she has thoughts on the matter, she’s kept them to herself.

Vaelith’s all about influence, hers and by extension, yours. She wants her words in your mouth, her phrases in your speeches, and her blessings behind every deal you make. As for what her big godly endgame is… who knows? She doesn’t really advertise that part. So far, nothing terrible has happened, and her magic’s still free... technically. Just remember: nothing stays free forever.
